Pair of French 19th Century carved oak armchairs circa 1870. Fine quality pair of profusely carved armchairs. Shaped backs with upholstered arms and an extra seat pad for added comfort. Carved dogs and acanthus leaves to arms, further carving to the front rail and legs. Fabric with expected signs of wear and fading, ideally a candidate for being covered in something more fitting for the quality of these chairs.
