Mid Century Vintage Bombay Rosewood Sideboard Credenza by acclaimed British Designer Gordon Russell (1892 – 1980) circa 1950. A timeless design with stunning craftsmanship throughout and Designers label present. A rare model with beautifully crafted handle pulls to the drawers and cupboards, a gentle curved front and top with slender leg frame. The internal cupboards and drawers have been finished to the standard of the exterior. A wonderful piece of furniture celebrating the best of British Design. Drawers are beautifully dovetailed with curved fronts, the top drawer is sectional with the original felt lining in excellent condition. Each cupboard has an original internal shelf, the shelf to the right cupboard is recessed for storage of taller items. Stunning tone and grain to the rosewood the sideboard has been thoroughly cleaned and lightly polished ready for use.
