This antique pictorial rug has all the bells and whistles. The two central figures featured are a woman and a flute player gathered around a shrine. The detail and color are incredible with a man’s portrait in each corner and flowers, garlands, birds and elephants throughout. It looks to have been always hung on a wall because of the fine condition of this extraordinary piece- even the fringe is in great condition.
Please note there seems to be a yellowish cast to some of the images coming from the light in the room- the truest color is the first image.
