Vintage Design
William Watting (an American architect who lived and worked in Denmark) designed this beautiful desk for Fristho Franeker in the 50s. It is beautifully executed in walnut. The top of this desk is elegantly shaped and the rim is slightly sloping. The legs of this walnut mid century modern Scandinavian design desk are slightly tapered. On the right side is a small cabinet with a door. It has one round, funny and pretty shaped handle. Inside this cabinet there is an extendable shelf. On the left side are two drawers, with the same round handles. This elegant desk is a very fine piece of Danish Design that fitted very well in the Dutch modern tradition from Fristho.. Dimensions 170 x 80 x 75 cm (lxdxh) Space between cabinets: 55 cm
