Hallmarked in London in 1782 by Hester Bateman, this charming and very rare, George III period, Antique Sterling Silver Saffron Pot, stands on four feet, and features Neoclassical style engraved cartouches, bead borders, and a wooden handle and finial.
The saffron pot measures 5.25″(13cm) tall, by 8″(20cm) wide, by 3″(7.5cm) deep, and weighs 8.1 troy ounces.
