Contemporary Design
In 2015 Swing was exhibited, along with other pieces of regional design, in Piazza Matteotti, the heart of the beautiful and historic city of Udine. Two young people who arrived in the city for an international film festival watched the creation of Giovanni D’Oria and took it to Venice for the Venice Film Festival. It was a success.
His session hosted faces and minds of the big screen: from Mel Gibson to Monica Bellucci, from Denzel Washington to Benedetta Argentieri.
The rocking chair, invented by Benjamin Franklin, which allows an oscillatory movement thanks to the two arches placed at the base, has been incorporated into one as a director, born at the time of the ancient Egyptians by an unknown craftsman and then exploded in Hollywood thanks to the masters of cinema. A mix of history and creativity that gave rise to Swing, an element of functional design that furnishes with style and personality. With Swing you can stop time and bring out lightness while the frantic flow of life surrounds you.
