1970s Ioan Nemțoi Double Handle Bowl/Vase/Urn

This stunning double handled glass bowl/vase is studio-blown art glass by loan Nemtoi of Bucharest, Romania. Dramatic bright colors and beautiful design details, this piece is signed at the base.

Nemtoi was born in 1964 in Trusesti, Botosani, Romania, and studied at The Academy of Fine Arts, Bucharest. In 1991 he obtained his B.A in Ceramics, Glass, and Metal. He later studied in Sweden with Kosta Boda at Bucharest Fine Arts Academy. Nemtoi’s works are now selling throughout Europe and the US as well as being shown in major art exhibitions and private collections. The artist maintains a permanent exhibit at his own loan Nemtoi Gallery in Soho, New York.

The items I sell are vintage, and therefore “used”. I do my best to take pictures of items in true color and and to describe condition. So please look at all pictures, and ask me questions if you have them, or ask for more pics. I usually have them, but I can only post 10. I do my due diligence regarding who made an item and when.

I recycle much of my packing material and boxes, consider this when you receive your items. I pack ugly, but all my stuff gets there in one piece.

Please allow your glass to temper before you open the box. Extreme temperature changes from shipping can cause glass to get very cold, and it’s best to let it come to room temperature slowly over 24 hours while in the box. Quick extreme temperature changes can cause glass to fracture if care is not taken.
