Description

This hand-painted lidded tureen is shaped like a melon and has life-like stripes and details. It would make a beautiful object for a coffee table, kitchen shelf or dining room. Tureens in the form of fruit were popular in Italian faience in the late 1700’s. Marked “Italy” on the bottom, it is a classic Mottahedeh pattern.
