1990’s Hand-Crafted Art Pottery Face Vase

Vintage hand-crafted clay pottery “Face” vase or vessel by unknown potter. Very similar in style and possibly modeled after pieces by French potter Marguerite Wildenhain.
This asymmetrical vessel has a cylindrical form with a plinth type base. Exterior of piece has molded relief faces and other decorative elements. Interior is also glazed in brown. Hollow underside of piece is unglazed. No visible maker’s marks. Very heavy and large vessel.
An estate piece from a family of artisans and potters who had well-established relationships with artisans in the same field.
