Impressive late 19th century/early 20th century Italian lacquer painted dining table made in the neoclassical Venetian taste. The rectangular table has a weathered, aged, and distressed patina on the painted finish. The top has an ogee edge and is embellished with urns, lyres, and foliate scrolls. The table has a custom fitted thick glass protective top in a conforming shape. The frieze is decorated with rocaille acanthus scrolls and rosettes on the corners. Supported by elegant tapered legs that give the table a dramatic profile. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship with a desirable distressed patina. Provenance: From the estate of artist Ira Yeager (American 1938-2022) Calistoga, CA.
