19th Century Solid Walnut Empire Style 3 Piece Parlor Seating Set

3-piece antique parlor set includes a 2-seat settee, one upholstered back arm chair and one carved wooden back arm chair. All are made of solid walnut and have wide, shapely arms with scrolled front and paw footed legs in a gorgeous deep reddish/brown tone. All have been newly recovered with a resilient “Crypton” upholstery fabric in neutral beige color and white rope trim.
The settee is 54”w x 28”d x 37.5”h. The chairs are each 30”w x 28”d x 37”h.

These are in excellent vintage condition. The wood is beautiful and strong. A back leg on the carved back chair has a noticeable repair, but it was well done and remains sturdy. Being antique pieces, there is naturally some wear but there don’t appear to be any other broken parts. The springs and strapping of the seats are believed to be original, but more padding has been added under the new upholstery fabric.
