This pair of wall brackets or little shelves come from a private house here in Florence, the owner commissioned them to match them with the design of a pair of antique 17th century wall corner sconces (also for sale in my 1stdibs dealer page).
This gorgeous set is made up of four giltwood bracket is the perfect solution to show your little porcelain, or to expose China wear or other collectibles.
Each shelf feature an oval shape with demilune top, acanthus leaves carvings and pine cone finals,
all patterns typical of Empire period and very popular throughout neoclassical period.
They all have the same shape and size.
Please note the two with the band on top have been sold, available only the pair plain on top.
These brackets would be of great statement and very scenic.
Great scale, narrow proportion perfect to decorate with a touch of gold any room of your home, these items will work well both with a classical decor and with a midcentury or Hollywood Regency style.
