Gino Ruggeri was from Italy – G. Ruggeri, is one of the most well-known sculptors in Italy, worked many years for Tito Bianchi in their factory in Tuscany. He developed a means of mixing alabaster with resin to make it more durable and waterproof – the Santini family – bought the rights to re produce Gino Ruggeri’s pieces in 1987 – Resin & Alabaster Carvings & statues before the purchase of the rights to Ruggeri’s work have greater value. “In 1987, after the cessation of the productive activity of the rinomata factory of artistic statues “Tito Bianchi” where Amilcare had obtained the first employment, the Santini family determined to acquire the rights of exclusive reproduction all the models, and acquired all the machinery and the equipment widening remarkably the range of its production with statues of remarkable Pregio artistic modeled nearly all from the famous sculptor Gino Ruggeri, been born to Volterra, native land of the alabaster.”
