Bauhaus Adjustable Tubular Steel Cantilever Lounge Chair, Model R363/R1204, by Werner Max Moser for Bigla, Bern, Switzerland, 1930s

This is an uncommon original 1930s modernist tubular steel lounge chair designed by Werner Max Moser for Bigla of Switzerland. It has an adjustable seating position by virtue of pegged notches which allow the freely removable seat frame to be positioned on the cantilever base.
The design of this chair by the Swis architect Moser, closely follows the ethos and manner of the German Bauhaus school of design.
