A stunning and extremely high quality French 19th century Neo-Classical st. solid Rosewood and ormolu armchairs and matching settee likely by François Linke. The pair of armchairs and the settee are each raised in the same manner by handsome Rosewood deer legs with impressive richly chased ormolu claw and ball feet. The straight frieze is centered by an elegant pierced ormolu plaque with charming foliate designs flanked by exceptional scrolled ormolu swans at the armrests with striking curved finely detailed wings in a superb satin and burnished finish. The upholstered back supports display a beautiful and most decorative curved shape with an additional central ormolu reserve showcasing the stunning Rosewood grain.
