French 19th Century Walnut Louis XV Newly Upholstered Bench

Crafted in France, this elegant antique walnut bench stands on cabriole legs decorated with hand carved acanthus leaf motifs at the shoulder, and ending with escargot feet, over a double curved stretcher with center “O” circle at the base. The seat has new neutral high end upholstery fabric, and the Louis XV bench is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorns a rich walnut patina. Place this versatile bench at the foot of a bed, or use it for extra seating in a living room or den, or on one side of a breakfast table.
