A beautiful and most elegant Italian 19th century Neo-Classical st. patinated and giltwood cabinet vitrine. The vitrine is raised by circular tapered fluted legs with handsome giltwood paw feet, striking richly carved winged caryatids with crowns, each leg connected by a concave bottom tier, and the original mirrored backplate. Above a lovely finely detailed scrolled foliate giltwood band are two doors with fitted glass panes framed within a delicate giltwood border and with impressive crossed arrows at the center with a beautiful mottled rosette with the doors opening to reveal two adjustable shelves. Above an additional most decorative scrolled foliate giltwood band is the elegant top crown with a superb central foliate reserve flanked by scrolled elements and with remarkable palmettes at each corner. All original gilt and patina throughout.
