Contemporary Design
Khamon is a cast bronze stool built as a sculpture. The inspiration for Khamon comes from the willingness to dignify the stool as a piece of furniture often forgotten. It has a polished finish made by an artisan. Limited edition of eight pieces. The piece was designed by Adolfo Abejon (Barcelona). Adolfo Abejon is the meeting point for the handmade process, for believing in small production and in limited short series. It gathers work based on respect for the local craft and that highlights the communication between every aspect involved in creation; it banishes the mass production concept and understands the collaborative mentality. This design concept merges humble aesthetics and quality philosophy, the conscious essence of the materials and the comprehension of their honesty. Calm and purity are two lines of work that peacefully coexist with their environment. These are presence exercises.
