Used Excellent original vintage condition Rare Mid Century Gunther Hoffstead for Uniflex Vintage Rosewood Extending Dining Table with 6 matching dining chairs that have been professionally reupholstered in matt black leatherette. The table extends with a central leaf on a swivel hinge that stores away easily when not in use. The top is in excellent original vintage condition with only very light signs of use. The rich tone and detailed grain disguises any minor imperfections. There are a couple of areas where there is minor damage to the top finish undoubtedly due to heat marks in the past but they are minor and only visible on close inspection and from certain angles. Signature Gunther Hoffsted sleigh leg frame to the table that is sturdy with no wobbles, damage or repairs. The chairs have rosewood frames with a lovely tone and grain, they sit neatly to the table when not in use. The back rests and the seats have been professionally reupholstered and padded. The original lining to the undersides have been retained as they carry the makers label.
