Contemporary Design
The design of this chair entirely built from solid beech is inspired by the archetypal form of the tavern seat. It introduces precious details in the design of the structure, such as the engagement of the backrest on the rear legs, and the interplay of the crosspieces under the seat, which, by crossing each other, create an unexpected and elegant structural solution. The machining was done on a 5 cnc setting, and the piece was sanded and finished by hand.
