‘Taking Form 5’ Mixed Media on Canvas by Janet Yelner

An abstract expressionist, mixed-media collage on canvas with fabric and acrylic, by contemporary California artist Janet Yelner. Titled ‘Taking Form 5,’ it last hung in an exhibition of works by a Bay Area collective of abstract painters to which Yelner belonged. Signed (en verso) and framed.

JANET YELNER attended Sonoma State University in California’s northern Bay Area from 1970 to 1975. She majored in psychology and art and received a bachelor of arts degree.
