Each vase has an ovoid ruby coloured cut glass body and a flared neck. They are mounted with twin ormolu handles, which are joined by a circular ormolu rim at the top. Each handle takes the form of eagle heads at the top, terminating in a Neoclassical bow mount at the bottom. The vases are set on circular ormolu bases.
