Vintage Red Lacquered Chinoiserie Jewelry Box

Vintage Asian Chinoiserie style red lacquer jewelry box with brass and decorated with “japanned” scenes throughout. Top opens to reveal a mirrored back above four drawers with brass drop handles. Hinged doors to either side that open to hooks for necklaces or bracelets. Sides have handles and the entire box rests on a decorated plinth base. Butterfly hardware secures back, making this beautiful from all angles.
